About Us:

 

DEBAUD BLADES, is owned by Jake DeBaud and located in Plano, Texas outside Dallas.  Jake has been making custom knives and edged weapons for over ten years specializing in high performance knives that will perform in the most complicated scenario's and in the harshest environments imaginable where survival is at stake. Each knife is 100% handmade including heat treatment within the DEBAUD BLADES shop facility.  Every knife is treated with importance each indivdually profiled and hand ground utilizing some of the most innovative techniques and materials available.  Real world scenario testing is implemented for each and every knife before leaving the shop to the customer.  

 

 

The Custom order books are usually opened a few times a year for custom orders depending on the current backlog from certain knife shows and or Military contracts/deployments.  If there is a custom design you would like to have made or a certain DeBaud model knife that is not currently in stock please contact us through filling out the contact form on the contact page and we will get back to you asap or feel free to always contact Jake DeBaud directly on Facebook or his phone (972) 741-6280 and or email address at Jake@DeBaudBlades.com.

 

Warranty

 

Every DEBAUD Knife, Sword or Edged Weapon is covered by a Full Lifetime Warranty.  All products are gurranteed to be free from defects in material and workmanship.

 

The exception to this policy is damage as a result of misuse, abuse or negligence.  DEBAUD edged products are designed for cutting, chopping etc...  They are not mean't to be used as a Pry-Bar or Thrown through a brick wall as well as cutting other metal objects even though they can do these things they are not designed for these purposes and will likely sustain some level of damage.

 

All Warranty claims will be evaluated on a case by case basis and will be repaired or replaced to our descretion.  If you had to abuse your knife in an emergency situation or real world scenario let us know and we will do our best to get your knife/product repaired or replaced and sent back to you as quickly as possible expecially if you are on deployment.

 

DEBAUD BLADES will not be held liable for any injury, loss of life or damage to property due to the misuse of any of our products.  DEBAUD BLADES shall in no event be liable for any incidental or consequential damages.

 

Shipping Policy:

 

Product will typically be shipped within 48 hours of purchase unless it is a custom order or there is a special request made for example changing the mounting system on the sheath etc...  If there is going to be a delay that exceeds the 48 hours from purchase the customer will be contacted via email or phone with detailed information to when the item will be shipped.

 

Refund / Return and Cancellation Policy:

 

 

All Sales are final once you have received the knife by mail there is no returns or refunds.  If you find some sort of problem in the craftmanship of the blade then contact us via phone and we will rectify the problem on a per case basis depending the issue, the customer will be reimbursed for shipping cost back to the shop.  Turn around time will be discussed on a per case basis.  If there is anytype of damage due to the package in mailing please follow the same protocol with contacting us via phone and we will rectify the situation, we will always standby our product 100%.

 

In regards to Cancellation of a custom ordered blade; the customer will loose the 50% deposite put down on the order typically due to design cost and the ordering of material etc...  If the customer has paid 100% of the total cost then they will receive a refund minus the deposite discussed during the ordering of the custom design.
